FSU Film students win four awards at Palm Beach Student Showcase of Films

At the annual Palm Beach Student Showcase of Films, FSU dominated in the College Category as usual. Film School directors took home First and Second Place, and Third Place went to a student from the Media and Digital Arts Program. Second year BFA Cooper Shapiro also won Best Music Video for, "Pushhh," a side project he and a number of his classmates shot last year. 

College Category

First Place: "All the Young Dudes" 2020 BFA Thesis film directed by Will Stead. There was also a special Best Production Design Award for Aaron Brooks, for his work on the film.

Second Place: "Pine Mountain Overnight" 2020 BFA Thesis film directed by Geena Hernandez.

Finalist: "In the Words of Hemingway" 2020 BFA F3 directed by Taylor Ross.

2019 BFA F3 to screen at Comic-Con in San Diego this summer

"Dummy Love" (BFA F3 2020 Evan Barber) will be screening at Comic-Con International Independent Film Festival in San Diego, July 22-25. Fore more information about this event, go to www.comic-con.org.
